As you may know, this month there is a certain wedding which is being celebrated — and YOU have been invited!
That’s right, YOU have been invited, together with everyone else in Cambridge.
Now we’re not talking about the upcoming wedding of someone called Prince William on April 29th.
We are talking about the wedding of someone much greater — the One who is called the King of King and Lord of Lord’s.
So, on the 30th April we will be celebrating the fact that Jesus Christ “loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
We will be gathering for a *prayer flashmob* at 2:10pm in the Great St. Mary’s, the official university church, for twenty minutes of silent prayer, before heading to the Prayer Room at 25 Portugal Place for wedding cake.
So come and pray in the Great St Mary’s at 2:10pm.
Because this is our Bridegroom’s song:
“Arise my bride, my beautiful one, and come away with me” Song of Songs 2:10.
